Smollett-Bell will be playing a character named Heather Hall who becomes Kristina (Monica Potter)?s campaign manager. On the show, Kristina running for political office will reportedly be a large part of the fifth season.

TVLine described the part as a ?major recurring role.?

Smollett-Bell is currently appearing on ?True Blood? as Nicole Wright, a member of a group that wants to protect vampires and other supernatural beings like shapeshifters and werewolves from those who believe them dangerous. Nicole has also become a love interest for bartender Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell).

The actress guest-starred on the recent TV series ?The Mob Doctor? and starred on the NBC drama ?Friday Night Lights? near the end of the show?s run. She has also guest-starred on shows such as ?The Defenders,? ?Grey?s Anatomy,? and ?House.?

?Parenthood,? which is based on the 1989 film starring Steve Martin, has aired on NBC since 2010 and revolves around an extended family, the Bravermans. It stars ?Coach? actor Craig T. Nelson, ?Six Feet Under? actor Peter Krause, ?Hit and Run? star Dax Shepard, and ?Gilmore Girls? star Lauren Graham.

The show has been well-received by critics and was nominated once for an Emmy award, for actor Jason Ritter?s guest turn on the show. It has often placed on reviewers? list of the best shows of the year since it began airing.

As noted by TVLine, many other former ?Friday Night Lights? actors have guest-starred on ?Parenthood,? including Minka Kelly, Derek Phillips, and Michael B. Jordan. ?Friday Night Lights? head writer and executive producer Jason Katims is the head writer for and developed ?Parenthood.?

Miss Kay and Phil Robertson in A&E's 'Duck Dynasty' returning for season 4 August 14 at 10PM ET/PT.

Save the date: You're invited to attend the wedding-vow renewal ceremony of 'Duck Dynasty' patriarch Phil and "Miss Kay" Robertson! The duck-tastic event will take place during the premiere of the show's four season on Aug. 14.

The episode, which is entitled "Till Duck Do We Part," will feature Phil, dressed in his finest camouflage pants and bandana, renewing his wedding vows to Kay, his wife of 49 years. Kay, who was only 16 when she wed Phil the first time around, wore a white dress and veil, while the couple's sons all donned suits for the fancy affair.

According to the network's description, the entire Robertson clan will be present at the festivities, including Phil's wacky brother, fan favorite Si.

Everyone comes together to plan a surprise wedding for Phil and Kay, setting up a special ceremony on their land, which the whole family attends. Si distracts Phil and Kay by taking them on a "trip down memory lane" to different places that were meaningful in their relationship.

The high school sweethearts will say "I do" again underneath an altar of flowers and animal antlers, in a ceremony officiated by their unbearded pastor son, Alan, who we will meet for the first time this season.

According to the network, "Duck Dynasty" was the highest-rated non-fiction series on cable last year. Nearly 8.5 million people tuned in on average to watch the hi-jinks of Louisiana's most famous bearded brothers.

The new season of "Duck Dynasty" premieres on Aug. 14 at 10 p.m. on A & E.

China orders 'urgent' audit of debts after IMF warnings

Andy Xie, a financial commentator at news website Caixin, said reliance on land sales to fund regional spending was an accident waiting to happen. ?While household income may have tripled in a decade, the average land price has risen by over 30 times. Income growth to come cannot justify the current price of land. Nor can a supply shortage. China has no shortage of land. The sustainable land value is probably 70pc to 80pc below current levels,? he said.

The IMF said these deficits ?raise questions about local governments? ability to continue financing the current level of spending and service their debts, which has implications for financial system asset quality. Further rapid growth of debts would raise the risk of a disorderly adjustment in local government spending. Financial distress would lead to a contraction in credit, a fall in domestic demand, and lower growth, which would make it more difficult for highly leveraged borrowers to grow out of their debt. The timing and coincidence of events that would trigger such an adverse feedback loop are difficult to predict,? it said.

An audit of the regions two years ago found that liabilities had mushroomed to $1.7 trillion (?1.1 trillion), but the full figure is already higher and rising fast as officials turn to the shadow banking system. Ma Xiaofang, a senior audit officer, said the chief worry is reliance on land sales to pay off half of all past debts.

The new audit comes weeks after a ?stress test? of Chinese banks caused interbank lending to seize up. SHIBOR lending rates have fallen back from extreme levels in late June, but borrowing costs remain high and there are signs of capital flight. Fitch Ratings said investors withdrew an ?unprecedented? $42bn from Chinese money market funds last month, many fearing the funds would run dry.

Richard Koo from Nomura said Beijing itself pushed regions into taking on more debt to keep growth going after the Lehman crash.

A third of local government debt cannot be repaid, yet officials are split over the wisdom of a central government bail-out.

The IMF said China will have to extricate itself from debt boom excess with great care, otherwise there could be a ?severe credit crunch? and eventually ?a systemic threat to financial stability?.

There will be no Star Wars trilogy for Orlando. The Star Wars Celebration fan convention that descended on the Orange County Convention Center in 2010 and 2012 is heading to Anaheim in 2015.

Star Wars Celebration VII will take place April 16-19, 2015 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California to coincide with cinematic release of Star Wars: Episode VII. The announcement was made Sunday at the conclusion of Star Wars Celebration Europe.

The official Disney-owned Lucasfilm event celebrating all things Star Wars brought its fifth and sixith U.S. gatherings to the Sunshine State, and many thought the seventh would follow suit.

Instead, Disneyland will benefit from the convention that Orange County Convention Center officials estimated brought $28 mllion to the region in 2012.
